HOW DOES THE BOOKING PROCESS WORK?

We collect half of the cost of your event at the time of booking as your 'deposit' to reserve your event on our calendar. The other half of the cost is due at the start of your event.

Fast, simple, easy!  Just see our BOOKING PAGE to share information about your event. We will get details, confirm our availability, and discuss the booking fee with you prior to accepting your Visa or Mastercard to secure your booking and send your receipt.

CAN I GET A REFUND IF I CANCEL MY EVENT THAT IS ALREADY BOOKED?

Yes, unlike many event vendors, Foxy Faces allows cancellations and will refund your paid deposit feel as long as the cancellation is 2 calendar weeks before your scheduled and confirmed event. Cancellations inside of 2 weeks from your event date may be eligible for refund at our sole discretion.

 

CONTACT US to let us know if you have a cancellation.  We will handle the rest!

DO YOU NEED TO BRING / PREPARE ANYTHING FOR OUR ARRIVAL?

We prioritize professionalism here in our community, so we provide all the materials needed for your event! The only thing we ask is that you supply a space for us to work in. An area that is shielded from the elements is preferred, as working in rainy, extremely hot, or  extremely cold weather doesn’t allow us to perform to the best of our ability. Along with this, it can be dangerous to our and our clients’ health.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF TIME I CAN BOOK FOR MY EVENT?

To ensure quality of our artwork, we like to spend a good amount of time with each face in order to ensure the most beautiful designs we can create. Because of this, we prefer a two hour booking minimum unless you have less than 12 guests that would like to be painted at your event. If you have less than 10 guests to be painted, give us a call to see if we can work something out!

 

Please, when counting guests, account for any adults or teenagers that might surprise you by wanting to get their face painted, as we like to make this a whimsical experience for clients of all ages.

WHAT IF MY CHILD IS DISTRESSED OR FRIGHTENED?

We prioritize the comfort and care of our little clients, and will not paint any child that is crying or does not wish to be painted. 


We want to make this a happy experience and would not want to upset anyone or frighten them.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE YOU WILL PAINT?

To ensure a pleasant experience and a beautiful design, we discourage painting any children under the age of three, as they might be distressed by the experience; but it is up to the parent or guardian.

 

 Cheek artwork or something small on their arm or hand may be an option to try instead, and can be negotiated depending on the child’s comfortability.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE SKIN CONDITIONS?

Anyone who, in our opinion, seems to be suffering from a rash, cold sore, or any other infectious skin complaint cannot be painted. 

 

Similarly, anyone with eczema, open cuts, or grazes shouldn’t be painted in the effected area/s to avoid potential irritation to the skin.

 

However, a design on the hand, arm, or cheek is certainly possible.

WHAT IF MY CHILD OR I AM SICK?

To avoid the possibility of cross contamination, we will NOT paint anyone suffering from cold/flu symptoms. Anyone with an infectious sickness cannot be painted, and we ask you not to book if your child is just getting over any spreadable sicknesses. 


If your child is suffering from allergies, please ensure their nose and face are clean before sitting them in the facepainter’s chair.

HOW DO WE GET THE PAINT OFF?

We use water-activated, skin safe paints, and cosmetic-grade glitters on all of our clients, to ensure simple removal.

 

Wet a washcloth with warm water and gently wipe away the paint when desired. To remove glitter, you can wipe with a washcloth or powder with a face powder of your choosing and it should flake off easily. Any stubborn stains on the skin should be cleansed with a oil-based cleanser or coconut oil.

DOES FOXY RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE?

Yes. Any rude, intoxicated, or abusive client may be refused service. We reserve the right to turn away anyone that stirs up negative commotion with their actions. 

MUST PARENTS BE PRESENT WHEN PAINTING CHILDREN?

Yes. As facepainters, our job is to dazzle our clients with ourbeautiful designs! And we can’t do our job to the best of our abilities if we’re supervising the other children as well.


We ask that an adult be present to assist the painter in getting the children together when it’s time to paint. 

IS TRAVEL INCLUDED?  HOW FAR?

We are central to the Dallas / Fort Worth TX area.  Travel within the area is included with your booking fees.

Outside the local area may incur a travel fee at the time of booking.  Distance and related fees will be discussed at the time of booking and may vary depending on the nature of your event and distance.
